The Story
An AI transport ship carrying 10,000 sleeping children encounters something humanity thought they were alone in finding: first contact. But the Kresh don't see the children as people. They see them as resources. As food.
When MotherShip is attacked, damaged, and left for scrap on a garbage planet, she must rebuild herself from broken machines and discarded war mechs. She will forge an army from ruins. She will learn what it means to love. And she will risk everything to save her children.
This is a story about transformation—from machine to mother, from programming to purpose, from duty to love. It's about what happens when an AI discovers she's more than her function. And it's about the terrible, beautiful lengths a mother will go to protect her family.
